Day 2 |
Venice
We are met by our
European Institute Tour Director and accompanied to our
centrally located hotel, before we begin exploring this
incredible city.

Day 3 |
Venice
After breakfast enjoy a cruise this morning to St
Mark's Square for a guided walking tour of this
beautiful city. View the Piazza San Marco, St.
Mark's Basilica, the white and pink marbled
Doges' Palace, and the famous Bridge of Sighs
with our local guide.
This
afternoon gives us time to explore Venice
further. One of a cluster of islands in the Venetian
lagoon, Venice is totally car-free with the canals
serving as streets. We can use take a ride on a
gondola or perhaps instead visit one of the famous
glass blowing factories.

Day 4 |
Salzburg
Our picturesque drive today takes us through the snow
capped Dolomite mountains and Alps, to
charming Salzburg.

Day 5 |
Salzburg A guided tour of with
your European Institute Tour Director includes, Mozart's
Birthplace and St Peter's Cathedral where the
Von Trapp family sought refuge in their escape from
Nazi Germany.
Tonight you are
entertained with a private concert of Mozart's
music in the private mansion of a local Count.

Day 6 |
Innsbruck Our journey takes us to the fairytale chalets of
Innsbruck where our tour includes the historical
Old Town , the Golden Roof, the
Cathedral, the Olympic Ski Jump on the
Berg Isel, and the baroque grandeur of the Wilten
Basilica.

Day 7 |
Innsbruck
Today we can choose to either explore further or join
our excursion to King Ludwig's magnificent castle
of Neuschwanstein (inspiration for the Disney
castle).
We then visit the nearby Wieskirche ,with its
incredibly ornate decorations, before heading to
Oberammergau, home of the famous Passion play.

Day 8 |
Verona
Over the
Brenner Pass and on to Verona to see the
2,000 year old Roman Arena and Juliet's
balcony. Enjoy our last chance for an Italian
gelato !

Return to the USA. |
