Day 1 |
Departure from the
USA bound for
Costa Rica!
San Jose We arrive in the
thriving capital of Costa Rica.

Day 2 |
San
Carlos
After
driving though the picturesque province of Alajuela,
we enjoy the splendor of the still active Arenal
Volcano. We enjoy a swim in the hot waters of the
Tabacon Springs. We continue on to our overnight in
San Carlos.

Day 3 |
San Carlos
Our first stop today, the Caño Negro Lake and
Wildlife Reserve, covers around 1980 acres in
the wet season. We enjoy a boat trip through the swamps
and marshlands marveling at the exotic fauna that
abound here – like heron, prey eagles, and
storks. Lunch is included today.

Day 4 |
Santa
Rosa Park Area
We travel to our jungle lodge in the
Santa Rosa area, where we can enjoy activities
such as horseback riding and guided hikes.
|
|
Day 5 |
Tamarindo Beach We travel
through the unusual dry tropical forest around
Guanacaste and stop at the Santa Rosa National
Park.
In the late afternoon we arrive at splendid white sands
of Tamarindo Beach for our overnight.

Day 6 |
Tamarindo Beach
Time to relax as we enjoy our free beach day, not
forgetting to keep our eyes open for pelicans and
sea turtles!

Day 7 |
San Jose We return to
San Jose for our last night in this magical
country!
|
|
Day 8 |
Return to the USA. |
