Departure from the
USA bound for
France! |

Day 2 |
Paris
We
are met by our European Institute Tour Director and
accompanied to our centrally located hotel, before we
begin to explore this incredible city.

Day 3 |
Paris Today we will have
the perfect introduction to Paris, a city
sightseeing tour led by a local guide. We will see
Napoleon's grand Arc de Triomphe, the famous
Champs Elysées, Place de la Concorde,
magnificent Place Vendome and finish our tour
with a visit to one of Europe's most beautiful
cathedrals, Notre Dame.
After lunch a
visit is included to the Louvre Museum. A Mecca
for art lovers, the renowned collection includes Da
Vinci's masterpiece the Mona Lisa.
This evening
a romantic Seine river cruise is included.

Day 4 |
Tours Your day commences
with a visit to a palace that truly illustrates the
wealth of pre-revolutionary France, Louis XIV's
Versailles. Our tour takes us through the 250 foot
long hall of mirrors and the royal apartments to the
magnificent gardens and Marie Antoinette's Petit
Hameau.

Day 5 |
Tours
The Loire Valley is justly famed for its
incredible chateaux and today you will visit three of
the most impressive. The town of Amboise sits on
the bank of the river Loire and is dominated by
the medieval castle Chenonceau, once home to
Catherine de Medici and is the most charming of the
chateaux.
We also include the moated Azay-le-Rideau, whose
Renaissance exterior is a sight to behold.

Day 6 |
Paris The highlight
of today as you return to Paris is a visit inside
Chartres Cathedral, where Pilgrims have been
journeying for eight centuries to gaze in wonder at the
magnificent gothic architecture and stained glass
windows.
Celebrated Chartres expert Malcolm Miller
guides us when available. |

Day 7 |
Chamonix Area Board your TGV
(Train a Grande Vitesse) and admire the beautiful
countryside as you are whisked along to the stunning
French Alps.

Day 8 |
Chamonix Area Join our
optional excursion to L'Aiguille du Midi, the
3000 foot mountain which affords unparalleled views over
the Alps and valleys.

|
Day 9 |
Return to the USA. |
