Departure from the USA bound for
London! |

Day 2 |
London
We are met by
our European Institute Tour Director and accompanied to
your centrally located hotel, before exploring this
incredible city.

Day 3 |
London
Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour as our local guide
introduces the many faces of London. You will see
magnificent Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament,
and Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey
and finish off with the pageantry of the Changing of
the Guard at Buckingham Palace (in season).

Day 4 |
Stratford
Quiet green countryside and half-timbered Tudor homes
are a common sight as we meander through the
Cotswolds. Our sightseeing tour includes
Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon and a visit to
Anne Hathaway's Cottage.

Day 5 |
Edinburgh
A morning drive takes us to the Lake District, a
vast area of mountain woodland and calm lakes that
inspired the great poets, Wordsworth and
Coleridge.
After taking in the scenery and visiting Wordsworth's
Dove Cottage, we travel to the capital of Scotland,
Edinburgh.

Day 6 |
Edinburgh This morning our
local guide leads us along bustling Princes Street,
the Royal Mile and for a visit to the imposing
Edinburgh Castle.
This afternoon is free to explore the cobbled streets of
this great city.

Day 7 |
York Our drive South takes
us through the rugged landscape of Northern England to
Hadrian's Wall and then on to the medieval
walled city of York. Here we visit the
towering cathedral, York Minster, and the
surrounding maze of narrow streets in the famous
Shambles.

Day 8 |
London
On our return to London we visit Royal Windsor,
the world's largest inhabited castle and its amazing
State Apartments which are still used by the
Royal Family.

Return to the USA. |
