Departure from the USA bound for
England! |

Day 2 |
London
We are met by our
European Institute Tour Director and accompanied to our
centrally located hotel, before we begin exploring this
incredible city.

Day 3 |
London
Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour as
our local guide introduces the many faces of London. We
will see magnificent Big Ben, the Houses of
Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Westminster
Abbey and finishing with the pageantry of the
changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace
(in season).

Day 4 |
Paris
This morning we board Europe's
newest train, the incredible Eurostar. A smooth
ride through the English and French countryside takes us
in a short time to Paris.
This afternoon our local guide
introduces us to Napoleon's grand Arc de Triomphe
with its tomb of the unknown soldier, the famous
Champs Elysées, Place de la Concorde steeped
in France's turbulent history, magnificent Place
Vendôme and finishes with a visit to one of Europe's
most beautiful Cathedrals, Notre Dame.
This evening a romantic Seine
river cruise is included.

Day 5 |
Paris
Today we marvel at Louis XIV's Versailles. Our tour takes us through the
250 foot long hall of mirrors and the royal apartments to
the magnificent gardens and Marie Antoinette's Petit
Hameau.
This evening your tour director takes you on a
Walking Tour of the historic Marais.

Day 6 |
Chamonix Area Board your TGV
(Train à Grande Vitesse) and admire the beautiful
countryside as you are whisked along to the stunning
French Alps.

Day 7 |
Chamonix
Area
Enjoy a day at leisure in the awe-inspiring mountains or
join our optional excursion to L'Aiguille du Midi,
the 3000 foot high mountain which affords unparalleled
views over the Alps and valleys.

Day 8 |
Lucerne
Board your TGV and admire the beautiful
countryside as you cross the border to Switzerland.
Arrival in Lucerne with time for exploration.

Return to the USA. |
