Day 1 |
Departure from the USA bound for
England! |

Day 2 |
London
You are
met by your European Institute Tour Director and
accompanied to your centrally located hotel.

Day 3 |
London
Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour as
our local guide introduces the many faces of London. We
will see magnificent Big Ben, the Houses of
Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Westminster
Abbey and finish off with the pageantry of the
Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace (in
season).
Later today our Tour
Director takes us on Walking Tour of Covent
Garden.

Day 4 |
Paris
This morning we board Europe's newest train, the
incredible Eurostar, destination the City of Light!
This afternoon our local
guide introduces us to Napoleon's grand Arc de
Triomphe, the famous Champs Elys้es, Place
de la Concorde steeped in France's turbulent
history, magnificent Place Vendome and one of
Europe's most beautiful cathedrals, Notre Dame.

Day 5 |
Paris
This morning a visit is included to the Louvre
Museum. A Mecca for art lovers, the renowned collection
includes Da Vinci's masterpiece the Mona Lisa.
This evening we take you to top of the Eiffel Tower
for a 'bird's eye view' of the city!

Day 6 |
Train
Today we marvel at Louis XIV's Versailles. Our
tour takes us through the 250 foot long hall of mirrors
and the royal apartments to the magnificent gardens and
Marie Antoinette's Petit Hameau.
This evening we board our overnight train for the
magnificent capital of Spain, Madrid.

Day 7 |
Madrid
Our local guide introduces us to her Madrid. We
drive along the noble wide avenues to see the Palacio
Real, Puerto del Sol, and we finish with a
visit to the Prado Museum where we can
admire the works of Goya, El Greco and
Velasquez.
After lunch, we are moved by Picasso's Guernica
at the Reina Sofia Museum.

Day 8 |
Madrid
This morning
we visit El Greco's Toledo. Our local guide shows
us the Cathedral and the Church of Santo Tome
and leaves us free time to explore the quaint medieval
old town.
Lunch is included rather
than dinner before our return to Madrid.

Return to the USA. |
